Dedicated to youth sports development through supporting coaches and parents

New or prospective coaches

Youth development through sport depends on a dedicated and very busy community of volunteer coaches.

We are grateful for those who give their time.

We believe more would join these ranks, and those of us in the ranks would be better coaches, if we could consistently engage with a platform designed, built, and maintained by experienced coaches.

Keys to Coach strives to be the coaching platform for those who have just begun, and those who are thinking of beginning, to coach.

Youth sports

Most youth sports depend solely on parent volunteers, many of which take on a coaching role with no prior experience. We help those new coaches by connecting them with other experienced coaches and tools.

Parents, Family, Friends

The most productive way for our youth to learn and thrive in sports is to practice. Our coaches do everything they can do in their limited time, through team practices and games, to teach the kids the fundamentals. Then the parents, the family members, the neighbors assume that added responsibility of support.

We believe kids benefit from consistent quality instruction, reinforced with repetition.

Keys to Coach offers a platform for parents, family, friends, to access the same instructional tools and content that their youth coaches are using, in order to support this reinforcement.

Early childhood

Children learn much of their fundamental sporting skills from a young age. We help parents and early sports coaches connect with other experts and tools.

Experienced coaches

Volunteer athletic coaches are some of the most important influential forces in our kids’ development.

Some of us volunteer coaches have been fortunate to learn from other great coaches. Too often, we do not have the time or the resources to find these role models to guide our own coaching efforts.

Keys to Coach sets out to provide a platform for these experienced coaches to share insights, tools, and tradecraft with the rest of us.

High school and college

The later youth sports years can be extremely challenging for parents and coaches alike, navigating an ever-increasingly complex environment. We help athletes, parents, and coaches along these journeys.
